Wattpad!

Read my story on Wattpad! It's about a girl who wants to be a ballerina.... of course she has some challenges along the way!

You don't have to be a member of Wattpad to read the story!

An Inspirational Poem

I came across this poem in my English Language Arts class and it really inspired me. Here it is:

From Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstien

LISTEN TO THE MUSTN'TS
Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child,
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me -
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be.

I hope you liked this and were inspired as much as I was!

Walnut Hill Audition 1/26/13

This was my second summer intensive audition this year.

I was number 56 so I didn't have to be in the front like at Festival Ballet Providence. It was even less nerve racking because my friend auditioned with me and she was number 55.

Thankfully, this audition went very smoothly since I new the process this time: check-in, warm-up, audition, leave. The only thing was I was in a corner spot at the barre with my friend and when we did developpe to the side we kept bumping into each other. At least it was my friend and not a stranger!

For this audition I don't really have a prediction if I got in or not. Who knows?

I'll update in a few week when I find out if I was accepted or not!

CPYB Update 1/27/13

Sorry, I haven't posted in a while.

I received this news about a week ago.

I was accepted into Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's 5-Week Summer Ballet Program!

This is my third choice place to attend after Walnut Hill School for the Arts' Summer Youth Dance and Boston Ballet's Summer Dance Program-Newton.
